I brought in my grandfather's Seiko for a full overhaul. The workshop was careful with it — the watchmaker actually pointed out a hairline on the case that I had never noticed, and included it in the written notes. The timing report was a nice touch. I did not expect that level of documentation from an independent shop.

Battery and gasket replacement — quick and straightforward. I was in Bangkok for work and dropped it off in the morning, picked it up in the evening. The gasket on the crown had been leaking; that is now sorted. Price was what they said it would be. No issues. I would use them again.

Brought in a Heuer automatic with a rattling column wheel. They diagnosed it before disassembly, which saved time and confirmed the scope immediately. The complication service took three weeks, including their seven-day observation period. The chronograph has been running without issue since. Competent work — and they clearly take this seriously.

A colleague recommended Siam Horolog for a vintage piece I had inherited. The watchmaker was honest about what the movement needed and what was not strictly necessary. I appreciated that. The overhaul took about two weeks. The watch now runs within acceptable tolerance for its age, which is more than I expected.

Used them for a battery replacement on a dress watch. Efficient. The staff noticed that the previous battery had leaked slightly and cleaned the contacts before fitting the new cell — something I would not have thought to ask for. Small thing, but it showed care. Workshop is easy to find from Surasak BTS.

My husband's chronograph had not been running right for a year — we had put it off. The service took just under four weeks including the observation period they mentioned. The written report was thorough. He has been wearing it daily since and it has been keeping time well. Worth the wait.

Three Watches, Three Different Situations
Case Study 01 · Full Overhaul
The Situation
A 1974 Seiko 6139 automatic chronograph that had not been serviced in twelve years. The owner had noticed the power reserve was shorter than expected and that the seconds hand occasionally stuttered.
What Was Done
Full movement overhaul with special attention to the mainspring and keyless works. The barrel bridge showed slight wear and was noted. Movement was cleaned, reassembled, and regulated. Seven-day observation for the chronograph mechanism.
Outcome
Power reserve restored to manufacturer specification. Timing running within ±8 seconds per day. Owner received full timing report and parts log. Watch has been in daily use for four months without further issue.
"I had no idea a service record could be so detailed. I now keep it with the watch."
— K. Wirat, Bangkok
Case Study 02 · Battery & Gasket
The Situation
A Swiss quartz dress watch used for formal occasions. The owner was uncertain whether the case was still water-resistant after several years and a previous battery swap done at a mall kiosk.
What Was Done
Battery replaced with the correct Renata cell. All three gaskets replaced. Pressure test performed — the case passed at 3 ATM with no leakage. Contact corrosion from the previous battery was cleaned before the new cell was installed.
Outcome
Watch returned same day. Water resistance confirmed and documented. Owner now has a written record of the test and can track the gasket replacement schedule going forward.
"Simple service, done properly. They found a corrosion issue I did not know was there."
— A. Chaisuwan, Bangkok
Case Study 03 · Complication Service
The Situation
A triple-calendar watch with moon phase, inherited from an expatriate client's father. The calendar mechanism had stopped advancing correctly. No service record existed.
What Was Done
Full movement overhaul plus examination of the calendar stack, cannon pinion, and moon-phase disc. Two worn calendar driving levers were replaced. The moon-phase disc was repositioned. Observed for nine days after reassembly.
Outcome
Calendar advancing correctly through all month lengths. Moon-phase accurate. The owner now has the first written service record this piece has ever had. It is being passed to a younger family member.
"They created a service history for a watch that had none. That record is now part of the watch."
— T. Fournier, Bangkok (expat)
